Are you a former IBCLC?
IBLCE would like to encourage former IBCLC's to certify again.
If your IBCLC certification lapsed no more than 12 months before taking the exam again, you do not need to provide any evidence of experience of clinical hours or education hours. You can pay the repeat rate on your supplement. IBLCE strongly encourages you to undertake private exam study and based upon your individual training and background, additional coursework or lactation specific clinical practice hours may be needed to successfully complete the exam.
If you lapsed more than 12 months before resitting the IBLCE exam you will need to reapply to sit the exam with the full exam eligibility criteria. All education MUST be in the five years immediately prior to applying to sit the exam. You will need to pay the full exam fee.
