CERPs Provider Irregularities Policy

Under a new Board policy, CERPs Provider approvals may now be delayed for program providers who have unresolved matters from previous CERPs Provider applications. These might include: post-program materials incomplete (e.g. attendance lists not submitted); irregularities in attendance rosters or issuing attendance certificates; making a false statement about CERPs approval, including number or type of CERPs; or continuing to issue CERPs when approval has expired.  In serious or repeat cases, the right for an organisation or individual to have programs approved for CERPs may be suspended or withdrawn.

The IBLCE Board has also resolved the following:
» A person who has had his or her certification suspended or revoked by the IBLCE Ethics and Discipline Committee will not be entitled to be a CERPs Provider during the period of suspension or revocation.
» CERPs will not be awarded for sessions presented or organised by a person who has had his or her certification suspended or revoked by the IBLCE Ethics and Discipline Committee for the period of suspension or revocation.
